Can we go to all of these beaches on tour?
While no beaches are private, not all public beaches on Oahu are open to commercial operations.
Some have legal restrictions or serve as neighborhood parks for tight-knit local communities. While we may not be able to stop at every spot, there’s a good chance you’ll still get a view from the road. Exceptions are clearly listed on each location page and in our Safety and Compliance Policy.
What if you donʻt see a specific beach here?
Just ask! We’re happy to help, and it’s always better to inquire in advance rather than the day of your tour. This gives us a better chance to offer an alternative that’s not in a neighborhood, meets safety standards, and complies with legal requirements.
Any rules or restrictions at beaches on Oahu?
Yes, tour operators must adhere to several legal restrictions for public beach parks on Oahu. We also have two additional policies to keep in mind.
First, if a location is in a neighborhood without a significant commercial presence, we respect that and won’t be the ones to change it. Additionally, we do not stop at public beaches on weekends or public holidays, except those located in resort districts.
Are there any extra costs to visit Oahu beaches?
There are no additional costs unless you choose to rent beach equipment from on-site vendors or add an ocean activity, such as a surf lesson. But if you go on your own, you might have to pay for parking.

Is there anything else to know about the beaches?
The ocean is always teaching us, so the answer is yes. Safety is key.
In addition to any prep you do before your tour and the details in our policies, please follow all instructions from your guide, lifeguard, or emergency services. Failure to do so may result in the cancellation of beach stops or the entire tour, with no refund for missed time or activities
