Kaneohe Bay scenic lookout
This scenic lookout near the base of the H-3 and Kaneohe Marine Corps Base is perfect for a photo stop. Enjoy a peaceful stretch, or even a drive-by view of Windward Oahu.
Beautiful at all times of day, but especially during golden hour or at a quiet sunset. It’s impossible to forget the sight of the Koolau Mountains bathed in soft afternoon light.
Whether you step out for photos or enjoy the scenery from the van, the lookout near Kaneohe Bay offers a tranquil and memorable glimpse of Oahu’s windward beauty.
Kaneohe Bay Viewpoint
This is one of the least known scenic lookouts on the island. Itʻs a canʻt miss stop with views similar to the Nuuanu Pali Lookout but from sea level instead of the mountain range. Passing trade-wind showers often create rainbows over Kaneohe Bay, making every visit a little different.
