Can we go to all of these scenic lookouts?
We can view them all them all, but a few scenic lookouts, like Makapuu, have restrictions on commercial vehicles. Others may limit photo stops or require the guide to stay with the vehicle during busy times.
Don’t worry, though, we’ll plan around these rules to make sure you still get the views and the perfect shots.
What if you donʻt see a lookout spot here?
No problem at all, just let us know. If there’s a scenic spot you have in mind that’s not listed, we’ll do our best to include it in your custom tour.
With a private tour, flexibility is part of the experience. But if we canʻt visit that particular place, weʻll let you know and suggest some alternatives.
Any rules or restrictions at these lookouts?
Yes, some scenic lookouts have specific rules. A few may restrict commercial vehicles or limit how long we can stop. Others ask guides to stay with the vehicle, especially during busy times.
In addition, alcohol is not allowed in these areas, because they are public spaces. On the other hand, some do have designated smoking areas. But we’ll make sure your tour follows all local guidelines while still giving you time to enjoy each spot.
Are there any extra costs for scenic spots?

Scenic lookouts are often exposed to sun, wind, and sudden weather changes. So bring water, sunscreen, and good walking shoes. Some spots have restrooms and amenities, but others are more remote.
