Can we go to all of these hiking trails?
Yes, guests can even experience all three hikes on one tour.
Typically, guests can choose between guided or self-guided options and feel comfortable either way. While Oahu offers a wide range of hiking trails, many are off-limits for commercial tours, and surprisingly, some of the most popular hikes are closed to the public. So, these are the only three trails we explore.
Please be sure to do your research before heading out to ensure a smooth and enjoyable adventure.
What if you donʻt see a hiking trail here?
Any rules or restrictions at hikes on Oahu?
Yes, there are a few things to keep in mind. The Diamond Head Crater hike requires reservations. We handle the permits in advance, so we’ll need to plan ahead for that one. Even your guide requires a reservation, so if you’d like company, let us know beforehand.
Manoa Falls also requires a permit for guided hikes, but shuttle service is available. If you decide you don’t need a guide or want to add one later, we can arrange that. Keep in mind, Manoa Falls is the most likely of the three hikes to be canceled for safety reasons. Waimea Valley is the easiest, though they do have specific operating hours to consider.
