the USS Arizona Memorial
Explore this hallowed site through exhibits and experiences that examine the attack, its history, and its global impact on a self-guided tour.
The Arizona, a World War I battleship, was fully fueled and armed when it was struck. It is one of Oahu’s most visited historic attractions and a centerpiece of the Visitor Center.
The National Park Service also shares a short film with real footage from that day to accompany your visit. It’s a must-see for history buffs, military families, and anyone wishing to pay their respects.
Arizona Memorial Info & Tickets
Reservations are not required but are highly recommended. The Arizona is perhaps the most moving spot at the Pearl Harbor National War Memorial. But the Navy may temporarily stop service for a variety of reasons, including high winds.

As a respectful and somber site, visitors are asked to refrain from smoking, loud talking, or engaging in disruptive behavior. Pets are not allowed except for service animals. Photography is permitted, but it’s best to remain mindful of other visitors as this is a sacred place.
In addition, all tour companies must operate by the Commercial User Agreement while at the Visitor Center. Guides are permitted 5 minutes of “wayfinding,” limited to visual directions and instructions.
No guides (from any company) may accompany Visitors through the Road to War, Attack Museums, theater, or shuttle boat to the Arizona.
