The USS Bowfin was launched exactly one year after the attack on Pearl Harbor and soon became one of the most successful submarines of World War II.

She served in the Pacific, particularly in the Sea of Japan, and played a key role in sinking enemy ships and cutting off the Empire’s supply lines.

Explore its narrow quarters and get a real sense of what life was like aboard for its brave crew credited with sinking 16 enemy vessels.
