- In Waikiki, we offer self-guided stops to try paddleboarding, surfing, or even canoe surfing, all arranged independently through trusted third-party vendors. We highly recommend Faith Surf Company and Aloha Beach Services for an authentic experience.
- On the East Side of Oahu, Kahana Adventures is a top pick. Operated by a local Native Hawaiian family with deep roots in the area, they care for this beautiful valley like it’s their backyard—and expect us to do the same.
- The North Shore is perfect for spontaneous paddleboarding and kayaking, especially at Anahulu Stream. It’s the go-to spot for big wave days and easy paddling. Plus, it’s the most flexible option for adding a stop on the fly, as long as we’re in the area.
Keep in mind that all these vendors have their own operating hours and rental fees, which are not included in the price of Your Private Tours.

What are the rental hours available?
Do you need to rent gear in advance?
It’s always a smart move, especially at Kahana or Waikiki. However, weather can shift quickly and dramatically on these islands, and sometimes, it’s simply out of everyone’s control. No matter how well you plan, unpredictable conditions can throw a curveball, and we’ll just have to roll with it.
But it is not necessary in Haleiwa as long as youʻre willing to move around that dayʻs conditions.
