Halia Tours and Transportation Terms
We’re thrilled to have you aboard and want to ensure you have the best possible Oahu private tour and transportation experience with us. We’ve laid out our Terms and Conditions to make things as smooth as possible. These guidelines help us keep everything running seamlessly, safely, and in line with Hawaii State laws. Please take a moment to review them. We’ve kept it clear, concise, and easy to understand so you can focus on the adventure ahead.
Can we bring food or drinks into the vehicle?
Food and Drinks: All food and drinks must be purchased a la carte by guests. We ask that all beverages brought into the van have a lid to avoid spills.
Cleanliness: We request that guests avoid strong-smelling or messy foods. Our goal is to ensure the van stays clean and comfortable for everyone.
Are there any codes of conduct or safety?
Seatbelts: For your safety, please keep your seatbelt fastened at all times during the tour as required by Hawaii State Law.
Vehicle Doors: For your safety and convenience, we kindly ask that guests refrain from opening or touching the vehicle doors unless it’s an emergency. Don’t worry though, we’re happy to take care of that for you
Respectful Behavior: We expect all guests to be respectful toward one another and the tour staff. If any guest behaves disruptively or puts others at risk, the tour may be terminated immediately without refund.
How do we treat people during the tour?
We believe in treating others with kindness and respect, and we expect our guests to follow the Golden Rule: Treat others how you would like to be treated. Disruptive behavior, including verbal abuse or aggression, will not be tolerated. If a guest engages in such conduct, the tour may end immediately, and no refund will be provided.
Are there instances where services won't be provided?
How are charges, refunds, etc. handled?
Cancellations and refunds are covered in our Cancellation and Refund Policy. Please refer to that document for full details on how and when you can cancel, as well as the conditions for receiving a refund. Here are some key points:
Private Tours: If you cancel at least 72 hours in advance, you will receive a 95% refund. Cancellations made within 72 hours will not be refunded.
- We kindly ask that guests treat our vehicles and equipment with care. Should any damages occur, guests may be responsible for the cost of repairs or replacement and any loss of revenue if the vehicle or equipment cannot be used.
- If there are excessive spills, dirt, or bodily fluids in the vehicle, a cleaning fee of $500 will apply to cover the necessary cleaning and sanitizing. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in keeping everything in top shape.
Self-Guided Audio Tours: Due to the nature of this product, no refunds will be issued once the code is used.
Merchandise: Returns are accepted within 30 days of purchase as long as the product is unused and in its original packaging. Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer.

Payment: To confirm your booking, full payment via credit card is required. No tour or souvenir is secured until payment is received.
Advanced Reservations: Reservations are required in advance, with very few exceptions. The tour is not confirmed until payment is made.

By booking or using our services, you agree to follow these Terms and Conditions. If you breach any part of the contract (e.g., non-payment, misconduct, or disruption), we may terminate the tour and charge a cancellation fee, as outlined in our Cancellation Policy.
Failure to Pay: If payment is not made or if a customer breaches this contract, the tour may be canceled, and fees may be assessed.
Misconduct: If a guest fails to follow the rules and policies, the tour will end immediately with no refund.

We comply with all applicable Hawaii State Laws in our operations, including traffic, insurance, and consumer protection laws. All guests must follow these laws during the tour. For details, please review our Safety Policy.
Force Majeure: Halia Tours and Transportation is not responsible for failing to deliver services due to unforeseen circumstances like natural disasters, severe weather, or other events beyond our control. In these cases, we will offer to reschedule or provide a refund.
Indemnification: You agree to indemnify Halia Tours and Transportation against any claims, damages, or liabilities resulting from your actions during the tour, including personal injury or property damage.
Intellectual Property: All logos, content, and materials provided by Halia Tours and Transportation are protected by copyright laws. In addition, if guests receive pictures taken on a phone or camera that is Company property, we retain full rights to usage of those images. However, we never sell any guests photos.
Severability: If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the rest will remain in effect.

Apart from the other information, details and policies listed on this site, there are a few more things to know about Oahu private tours and transportation:
Age Restrictions: Some tours may have age restrictions for safety reasons. Please check the tour details to ensure that your group meets the requirements.
Transferability of Service: In general, Tours are non-transferable, but if we reach an agreement in writing and advance we may make exceptions. Otherwise, if you need to cancel or reschedule, please refer to our Cancellation Policy for options.
Tour Modifications: We may adjust the itinerary or cancel tours due to extreme weather, traffic, or other unforeseen events. We will notify you as soon as possible and offer a chance to reschedule or refund if needed. However, no refund will be given for normal weather conditions or because individual components may not be available for safety reasons.
Customer Feedback: We appreciate your feedback! Reviews help us improve our services. However, we reserve the right to remove any reviews that violate our guidelines or contain inappropriate content.
