Does Pearl Harbor have rules or restrictions?
Yes, there are a few important regulations, though most affect us more than you. The National Park Service operates the Visitor Center and museums.
At the same time, the USS Arizona Memorial is jointly managed with the U.S. Navy, and they enforce strict rules that all tour companies must follow.
Ford Island, home to the Battleship Missouri and Aviation Museum, is an active military base with its own security and access protocols. Both areas have federal law enforcement on site; everyone must always follow their guidelines.
Are Pearl Harbor Tours suitable for all ages?
Yes and no. The Arizona Memorial is a powerful and historic place, but it’s more reflective than ʻfun,ʻ especially for younger kids.
There’s quite a bit of walking and sun exposure, which can also be tiring for older guests. That said, there are shaded rest areas, snacks available, and several exhibits to keep little ones engaged.

Which length is best to visit Pearl Harbor?
If you just want to experience the Visitor Center and see the Arizona Memorial, you only need a half-day.
You even have time for another exhibit, a little sightseeing, or lunch. But for those who want to see several exhibits, you need to book a full-day excursion or longer. On the other hand, there are several options for self-guided components, which will help stretch your time.
Do you get to choose which exhibits to visit?
Of course, since everything is private and custom, you’re in complete control. Our a la carte approach means you’re not locked into any specific exhibits.
Want to explore certain areas more deeply? Go for it. If something doesn’t pique your interest, feel free to skip it.

Can you adjust the Pearl Harbor route later?
Of course. One of the best parts about a private tour is its flexibility.
You can always make some adjustments on the fly, but remember that some changes, particularly for the Arizona Memorial, require advance notice. If we miss that shuttle boat, another one might not be available, so it’s best to plan ahead.
Unlike the rest of the memorials, the trip to the USS Utah Memorial, requires reservations. But we always recommend booking your ʻmust-seeʻ tickets in advance anyway.
